The Return Of The Pep

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the release of the classic first EP by The National Pep, Citizen Gomez, which was bought and loved by literally some people.
For those who don’t know, The National Pep was a band based around myself (under the pseudonym Olsen Bloom) and Tilt Araiza as songwriters, with my wife Holly (as Laverne Christmas) on keyboards. We released two EPs in the middle of the last decade, before life got in the way and the band was put on hold.
It’s now off hold, and we’re going to be releasing new music next year, and in anticipation of that we’ve got ourselves a Bandcamp page, on which you can find our new tenth anniversary release — Certain Cancelled Flights, which collects all the material from both EPs along with a bonus alternate mix of “Jaded”.
We’re currently working on a Monkees cover, for possible inclusion on a tribute album, and more new material will follow soon.

Not seeing the mono mix of Jaded on that page, just 8 tracks.

    Fabulous news!

It’s partly because of you — working on Poseidon’s People (and yes, I know I owe you more stuff for that, and some email replies) has got me making music again…
