This is a placeholder post, to explain the lack of posting today. I’m going to be posting a ten-essay series on Mindless Ones, one a day, and it was meant to be starting yesterday, but it’ll be starting tomorrow, because reasons (it’ll all be written before it starts going up). There should be an ebook version available at the same time, for Patreons and for sale.
There will still be normal blog posts going up here for the next few days while that’s going on — posts on Randy Newman, the Beach Boys, and The Three-Body Problem, all of which just need some tidying up tomorrow.
I’ll probably NOT be posting my thoughts on the election results, because I suspect they’ll be extremely depressing, though I’m doing my bit this week to fix that…
