I actually took last week off work to get more writing done, but instead I seem to be suffering from something that feels like caffeine withdrawal, but which can’t be fixed by caffeine (it’s been suggested that my thyroid’s playing up because of stress, but I’ve not had a chance to check this out) — I had at least twelve hours sleep every day last week, and still ended up staggering around with exhaustion. I still plan to keep to my Patreon commitments (20,000 words of original content, either here or on Mindless Ones, this month), but my head’s too bad to write tonight, even after having a two-hour post-work nap, so I’m leaving it til tomorrow. I’ve got a California Dreaming post half-written, I know what I want to say in the next Sherlock Holmes & The Cult Of Characterisation post, I’m doing a Batpost on Wednesday and I want to do reviews of the new Faction Paradox collection and a fan collection of Doctor Who stories, so I know what’s going to be posted, I’m just trying not to push myself too much when my head hurts, especially since I’m currently mildly aphasic too (I actually had to google to remember the word “functioning” when posting a comment yesterday, and today I couldn’t remember that “fair and balanced” was Fox News’ slogan for a good five minutes) so the writing would not be my best.
Bear with me. Proper post tomorrow.

Clamouring as ever to add more work on the back of the already overburdened, could I tempt you to a review of the Le Roi en Jaune idc….absoultely not immediately!
I’m planning on doing that one as well, but after I’ve done a reread of it to do the thing you emailed me about, which I’m hoping to get done soonish…
I hope you feel better soon. I’m pretty sure that being that tired for a week isn’t normal. One of the things on your to-do list might be “make doctor appointment.”
