We were promised an engineer to come and *finally* connect our internet this morning.
We live on a tiny cul-de-sac with about twenty houses.
I just saw a BT Openreach van drive *out* of our street, from in front of our house.
I am now 99% sure that they have connected the people upstairs again, instead of us.
Jesus, Andrew. Perversely comforting to know that utilities screw up in the E.U. as badly as they do in the USA. I truly hope they rectify this madness as soon as possible. Also, many thanks to you on your Van Dyke Parks gig review, it was wonderfully written, and gave me a great sense of what I’ve been missing all these years. Can’t wait to digest your writing on “Pacific Ocean Blue.”
Thanks. They had connected upstairs, but now, finally, we have home internet.
