Latest news from BT is that they accidentally connected our old line to upstairs, when trying to reconnect us. They’re going to try to get it fixed ‘by Monday’.
Which will, of course, be four weeks to the day after they disconnected us, despite us not asking to be disconnected and them promising not to disconnect the line.
We won’t have home internet access until some time after that, except through the mobile phone with a sim borrowed from a friend.
This also means that you won’t be getting any more NuWho reviews from me, as I can’t actually watch anything on iPlayer until this is sorted, and by then I’ll be more than a month behind.
Given how much anti-pleasure the episodes were bringing you, this seems a small silver lining in the cloud of atrocious treatment…
