Social Media Break

Just to say I won’t be going on any social networking sites for the next couple of days. Half my friends are going to be singing “ding dong the witch is dead” while the other half will be in mourning for “the greatest Prime Minister in history”, and any comments I make at all at a time of such high emotion will undoubtedly lead to half of them hating me.

Don’t you mean “all of them”?
Wouldnt it be great if we could look back on a time when some things were done that were good and some bad and some necessary but with associated bad consequences.? Wouldnt it be great if we could think about how best to keep the good and repair the bad instead of just chuntering?. Wouldnt it be great if we could realise that no one person can be held responsible for a government ? Wouldnt it be great if we didnt drive our leaders mad by venting all our distress and anger into them?
Who wants to be like the States where half the nation cant talk to the other (although in many ways we’re probably just as bad if not worse).
