      Ha! I’m still less than half his age… it is weird to think of him as that old.

    I know what you mean, I was just thinking that the other day about McCartney. Hard to credit. Ah, Time. Worse is when I watch a favourite tv series or film and so many of the people whom I admire are dead or have had some ill fate (or just old age which sometimes *is* ill fate) befall them. Gee, I’m depressing myself!

    Also: apparently Mike is as graceful and unselfconscious on stage as he ever was. Ahem!
