Linkblogging for 01/01/10 (ten months to go til the first palindromic date of the millennium…)

I’ve written 1831 words on Sgt Pepper so far and not got to the end of side one yet, so I thought I’d stick a few links up for now…Pepper post will be up tomorrow.

Millennium Elephant is nominating himself for the Orwell Awards, and has a list of his favourite of his own posts there. He’s also given out awards of his own to other Lib Dem bloggers. Meanwhile his Daddy Alex talks about Darwin and Gladstone

Fred at Slacktivist talks about the people who want to keep Guantanamo open and people who don’t ‘believe’ in things that exist.

David Cameron thinks we’re not very different from the Tories. Well, we are – not least because we’re not evil Tory scum.

Abhay finally finishes his posts on Blue Beetle.

LessWrong have a post on “Mandating Information Disclosure vs. Banning Deceptive Contract Terms”, which sounds dull but actually cuts to the heart of some of the problems with Libertarianism (as opposed to libertarianism).

And Bob Temuka likes the Welsh series, and doesn’t like those who whine about it.
