Sci-Ence! Justice Leak!

The last few weeks have been ones of absolutely frenetic offline activity for me — three periods of having houseguests staying and three extended trips to other cities in a six week or so period, followed by a bout of illness and a medical emergency in my wife’s family, all while coming up against a tight deadline at work.

Assuming that that medical emergency doesn’t mean I have to make an unplanned trip to the USA in the next few days, I won’t be going anywhere, or having to deal with anyone much, for the rest of the year, other than a trip to Italy at the end of this month to see the Beach Boys, a trip to London in September for the same reason, and Leeds in November for the Thought Bubble comic convention with the Mindless Ones.

That means I can fairly safely say that I should be able to get back to a semi-regular posting schedule here soonish. I’m not promising specific days for specific posts, because that never works out when I do that, but you can expect something more like the old update style to start again soon.

I’m out tomorrow night seeing the original radio cast of The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, but from Tuesday I should be able to find time to at least do brief updates. In the meantime, apologies are due to Plok, Prankster, and Millennium’s Daddy Richard, all of whom I owe important emails to.

The second part of the Mindless annotations of LoEG: Century 2009 should be up tonight or tomorrow, BTW, with quite a heavy contribution from me.
